Hallazgos Radiológicos de Pacientes Covid-19

La infección por COVID-19 es una enfermedad viral también conocida como SARS-COV-2 o coronavirus 2 del síndrome respiratorio agudo severo. Es un virus COV del grupo de virus de una sola cadena de ARN (ssARN). Presenta un 82% de los ácidos nucleicos compartidos con SARS-COV humano. Corresponde a la categoría de betaCOV, redondeada o elíptica, a menudo pleomórfica.

La sospecha de infección por Covid 19 se basa en la sintomatología (fiebre, tos seca, tos con expectoración, odinofagia, anosmia, diarrea, etc.) y se confirma por estudios específicos de laboratorio, como la RT-PCR.

El objetivo de este escrito es describir los hallazgos en TC de pulmón que causa este virus una vez confirmada la infección.
